Support Team Leader AWS Office 365 Software Support Office based role
Looking for someone to provide daily management of the corporate IT infrastructure for 150 internal users and the AWS cloud-based production servers. It is a hands-on role in which you will ensure the IT infrastructure is successfully driving the business forward.
-Managing AWS cloud environment
-Managing internal IT infrastructure for 150 users
-Develop IT processes which provide a quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
-Providing general IT support in regards to hardware and software for internal users as well as to the business
-Obtaining software licenses
-Cyber security/ security monitoring of AWS and internal infrastructure
-Suggest, develop, test, implement and maintain new and existing technology and infrastructure
-Implement data loss prevention strategies
-Ensure IT systems perform with support and duties as is required outside of office hours
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an IT Support or Software Support
role, with at least 2 years working in a customer-facing Help Desk environment supporting the use of
software (this can be supporting internal customers).
Other essential skills include:-
• Experience managing or supervising others.
• Experience of Cloud administration using AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience managing or supervising in a Help Desk or Support environment, logging issues in a
ticketing system (e.g. Jira), prioritising and categorising tickets and reporting on trends.
Qualifications or experience in customer service or cyber-security are an advantage as is knowledge of
or experience working with AWS services such as, RDS, EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, Cloudwatch, or
VMWare’s Cloud Health.
