Senior Developer PHP Symfony – Remote
The Backend Developer works as part of an Agile team to design, build and maintain systems responsible for extracting, cleaning and warehousing high availability business data for analytical purposes. The role works closely with other developers, designers, customers, testers, product owners and project managers to ensure that the company’s commercial goals are met by the effective and successful deployment of its data solutions.
You will be responsible for proposing and implementing technical solutions that bring new features to products. The backend developer discusses and agrees technical solutions with the customers, product owners, developers and testers, estimates the work required to implement the solutions and then proceeds with the implementation within the proposed estimate and is expected to consistently deliver on tasks and ensure all code developed is clean, clear, testable and maintainable
You must have
* 5 years + solid commercial experience of PHP and Symfony
* Have advanced understanding and experience using Unit Testing, Behat Testing, Javascript, jQuery, MongoDB
* A good understanding of the following technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
* Ideally be able to work with JIRA, Slack, Continuous Integration, Peer Review, Pair Programming, Sentry
