They are currently in the process of implementing a state-of-the-art cloud-based ERP system and are seeking an ERP Systems Administrator to play a central role in this exciting endeavor.
**Responsibilities of an ERP Systems Administrator:**
– Collaborate closely with the IT Manager to develop and implement the ERP system across the entire organization.
– Provide valuable assistance to the IT Manager and Offsite IT support team in the installation, upgrading, and configuration of new hardware and software to align with company objectives.
– Contribute to the implementation and development of all company IT Systems.
– Uphold stringent security protocols and procedures to safeguard against potential threats.
– Efficiently manage user accounts and maintain access control.
– Offer guidance to employees on utilizing the new Business Systems and provide ongoing IT support.
– Develop comprehensive training materials for the new Business Systems and upload them to the company portal.
– Stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in IT administration.
**Requirements for an ERP Systems Administrator:**
– Minimum GCSE Qualifications, including ICT, combined with a strong interest in information technology or information systems.
– While an A-Level ICT or equivalent qualification is desirable, it is not mandatory.
– Previous experience in a similar role or within an Engineering or Manufacturing background.
– 6 months + Proficiency in working with ERP systems and a strong interest in system development.
– Familiarity with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
– A sound understanding of best practices in IT administration and system security.
– Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
